Disclaimer of Liability 

By participating in the Tractor Road Run, Ride Out or Dog Walk, all participants acknowledge and agree to the following terms: 

1. Assumption of Risk 

Participation in the event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of personal injury, property damage or loss. All participants take part voluntarily and entirely at their own risk. 

2. No liability or damage or injury 

The organisers, including its committee members, volunteers, landowners and any affiliated persons or organisations, shall not be held liable or responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, animals, vehicles, equipment, or property howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with participation in the event 

3. Participant Responsibility 

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their vehicles, animals and equipment are safe, roadworthy, and properly insured (where applicable) Riders and drivers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations and exercise due care throughout the event. 

4. Insurance and Safety Requirements 

All participants must have appropriated insurance in place and wear suitable protective gear (eg helmet for riders, seatbelts for vehicles). The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or participation to anyone deemed to pose a safety risk to themselves or others. 

5. Consent 

By taking part in the event, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to release and hold harmless Loudoun & Galston Agricultural Association SCIO and its organisers from any and all liability as described above.
